SSSR Networking Lunch
Join us for the Networking Luncheon on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 12:15-1:10pm at the SSSR+RRA 2026 Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado. This luncheon is complimentary for all meeting attendees, but you must register online for the luncheon by October 6, 2026. Registrations received after October 6th will not be accepted.
The SSSR strategic plan prioritizes networking opportunities as a way to welcome and incorporate new attendees, especially those who are not sociologists, are based outside of Canada and the United States, and add to our diversity. This event will bring together attendees around shared interests.
When you register for the Networking Luncheon, please indicate your research interest(s) so we can create themed tables using the most common topics. Sandwiches will be available beginning at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st. If you require gluten-free bread or have another dietary restriction that precludes you from being able to eat any of the menu choices, please contact the SSSR Executive Office at office@sssreligion.org.
The menu choices are:
Roast Beef | Cheddar, Mixed Greens, Tomato, Pickled Onion, Ciabatta
Tuscan Chicken Salad Wrap | Grilled Chicken, Red Onion, Roasted Tomato, Basil, Garlic Aioli, Romaine, Provolone, Cucumber, Flour Tortilla
Chickpea Waldorf Wrap | Garbanzo Bean, Grapes, Walnuts, Apples, Onions, Leaf Lettuce, Mayo (DF, V)
Southwestern Chicken | Dry Rubbed Chicken, Spring Mix, Roasted Corn, Pickled Onions, Cherry Tomato, Tortilla Strips, Cilantro (GF, DF)
All lunches include pasta salad, assorted chips, seasonal whole fruit, chocolate chip cookies and mini water bottle.
